Throughout this paper I am attempting to explain to the writers of the world today that, simple language and one’s own vocabulary ranks high above using complex language and confusing vocabulary. I supported this claim with information from studies, writer’s own opinions, and logic. I addressed the fact that it is what we have been taught from a young age. I think some of the examples I added to enhance my paper are working well, while others are not. In your responses I would like you to address your opinion on how well or not my opinions worked, if my paper was clear and understandable, and if I did a good job at not using too many complicated or unneeded words. If I was given more time, I would have gotten the opinions of some of my instructors to add to this paper. My peer gave me a few tips of advice after having read my paper. They suggested that I move around the first few sentences of my paper, but I decided that I liked how it flowed the original way better. She questioned what is frowned upon in the first paragraph, which i go on to explain in the following sentences, so that piece of advice confused me and I did not change anything. She also suggested that I explain who I mean when I say 'we' or 'us', which I changed a few of these, but most of them I kept the same because I wanted the 'we' or 'us' to mean me and the reader. Finally, she suggested that I change the wording in the beginning of one of my paragraphs so that if flows better, which I did change.
