Cover Letter - Madison Husa

With the paper that I was writing about grammar and the point that I was trying to get across was the idea that grammar is more than just punctuation and reading out of a textbook but that their is more to it. I gave support and evidence by reading articles on grammar and I tried addressing how many teachers are talking about how they always wonder why students do not remember when they learn grammar and how it is hard to just be teaching right out of a textbook. Parts in my paper that I like were when I gave examples from different pieces and when I am trying to show how their is more to writing than looking at the grammatical errors. Certain parts in my paper I feel are repetitive and I tried getting to the point, but sometimes I was not sure how clear I was. I want readers to talk about how they feel about grammar, to give their input from when they were learning about grammar and how much do they really remember? If I had more time I would have liked working on it in class and getting ideas along the way from my peers.

  1. I thought that your paper was very well written and met all the requirements that were asked of you. I liked how you got your point across effectively and had many sources of information to back up your argument. I did leave a few comments within the paper for you to think about. They are just minor adjustments that you can consider.
