Cover Letter Paper 1

With my paper, "Is Grammar Important and Should It Be Taught In Grade School", I wanted to prove the point that Grammar is only useful to the point that it effects the reader. In grade school, kids are far too young to be worrying about the use of grammar when they can barley figure out the concepts of their writing in the first place. Dawkins and The Counsel of Teachers of English really brought the point across that Grammar is Rhetorical and that Children are to young to understand Grammar from the hand book at a young age.  They gain common sense from reading and living. I think I Used sources well but I also think that My counter argument wasn't strong enough. I may have to go back and do more research so that I make more of an argument of conversation rather than stating one side.  The concept of argument as conversation has been something completely new and a bit hard to grasp so I am looking for responses about how to better that. Some of my sources may not be used as conversation but rather as examples which we have been told specifically not to do. I think I need help grasping the concept better. If I was given more time,  I would pick a more specific frame to write my paper and maybe use more sources.

I really enjoyed reading your paper. I really think you had a better grasp of a conversational style than you may have thought. You used a lot of great examples to help the reader relate to grammar and how they may use it within their writing. If there was one suggestion I could make, I would just try to work on, relating the quotes from the authors to more of a conversational approach, to go along with your examples used.
Sorry about the format by the way. I had some trouble downloading it, so I had to reformat it on word.If the edit marks don't show up in the word document for some reason, let me know so I can get you a copy with revisions on it. Overall you did a really nice job!
